It's kind of odd birds, and VMAX. It seems that he is having an identity crisis. There are undeniable strings of DNA cruiser in there, but tales of the gene is dominant, and the bike seems to flaunt that half of mixed heritage.

The entire chassis of aluminum is a bone with a diamond frame and cast aluminum swingarm, and the sub-frame extruded to keep things nice and light. Riding the fuel tank under the seat where it maintains a low center of gravity, and adds to a sense of control at low speeds, but I question the wisdom of having to wave gas link on each seat in filling the tank.

Forks come with the usual preload and rebound / compression damping adjustments, and it combines with the head 31 degrees Leadership 5.8 inches of trail. Brakes comes loaded for bear with a pair of 320 mm, and reduce the wave discs up front and 298 mm disc at the rear. Caliper Brembo dual-link front wheel with six pot, opposed piston calipers, and a single pot rear Brembo control. I do not lie, and the combined 12 pistons calipers add up front until a tremendous amount of braking energy, and that for once I am really happy to see ABS, 'cause this sled definitely needs.

Really a piece of the engine, and comes in four V- formation that fills the frame quite wide, and it's anything but a boat anchor. Official word from the factory 123 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm, and some 10 pounds greater than the Pope of this family engine that came out in '09. I do not have any official word about the horsepower yet, but if I had to guess, I would say that somewhere around the same sign as the 175 horsepower '09, or at least in the neighborhood of it.

You can ride off on the VMAX for $ 17.990 with a limited warranty for one year, but only in the Galaxy blue plate. Price and performance both seem to be putting this ride in the category of "upgrade", and will make a good ride for someone with some experience looking for a second, or third, riding.

Since VMAX is technically a power cruiser, cruiser went with another powerful and brutal, and this one from Italy. And carbon from Ducati Diavel.
Although the hump fuel tank on the Diavel visually distinguishes it from most other bikes, eating scoops both horse fattening front facades ride, so all look like runners hid in blocks.
